Asheville has been my home for over 30 years. I was born and raised on a 60-acre farm in Candler, which has been in my family for generations. My grandfather, the backbone of the family, raised us all to believe “your handshake and your word is your honor”. These are the ethics by which I still live.

The Lord has blessed me with my wonderful husband Dan, and three beautiful children - my daughter Cassidy (9), and my stepchildren Gabby (9) and Matthew (7). We also have three dogs we consider part of our family. We live just north of Asheville in Alexander in the North Buncombe School District.

I love to spend time with my family playing softball, fishing, swimming, camping, and trying not to kill yet another garden. The kids all play ball for the North Buncombe Youth League where I sponsor and volunteer with the girls’ team. I also volunteer at the school, and try to help the community with various special events.

I've worn many hats in real estate- Licensed Assistant, Administrator and Computer Networking Specialist, Broker Associate, Listing Agent, Buyer Specialist, and Unique Property Specialist. I don't look at being a real estate professional as just a job, I see it as an opportunity to create unique life-long relationships.

Thank you for allowing me to share with you a little bit of who I am. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about real estate - buying or selling, and if you are thinking of buying or selling your own property, contact Heather at heather@kimandcompany.com or (828) 687-6839

I am an artist and writer who came to Real Estate through the back door of necessity. I love rehabbing older challenged homes as well as helping people find and make a home out of a house. My own home, built in 1906, was condemned and destined to be demolished. After a ten year restoration it stands in The Historic District of Montford as a symbol of renewal and perseverance. I am committed to my community having served on the boards of The Artists Roundtable, The Asheville Area Arts Council, and Girls Inc. I also was a volunteer for the Red Cross during Kartrina and Wilma serving in Asheville and briefly in Baton Rouge. I love the hunt and will be a loyal provider for you as you look for your new home.

Dear Lisa,

Tthis is the best thing that I could think of to say, as I think that it is the most important part about the service that you provide. working with lisa was wonderful. she was not so much concerned with "getting us into a house" as with finding us a real home.she was willing to expend the time and effort to find a place that fit my family perfectly. I would even recommend her to my mom."

Hi – my name is Bill Church.  I have been blessed to live in the Asheville area for over nine years.  My wife, Rona, is an Allstate Insurance agent and my two children, Kyle (12) and Kevin (10) are students in the North Buncombe school district.  We are all very active in sports, outdoor activities and our local church.  We also love to travel!

From a vocational standpoint, real estate and development have been a passion of mine since I was a teenager.  I was exposed to many opportunities from my childhood in northern Virginia through my 20 – year corporate career in manufacturing.  It is the sum of those experiences that led me to redirect my efforts and become a real estate professional in western North Carolina.  That transition has allowed me to build successful relationships in the purchase, sale, development and remodeling of both residential and commercial properties.

A special area of focus is leveraged from my personal experiences:  relocation.  I understand the needs of a customer who is moving across the country - buying and selling a house, leaving good friends, and moving their family many miles away.  Let me help you make that transition as smooth and profitable as possible!

A native of upstate New York and resident of Western North Carolina for 20 years. Graduate of University of North Carolina at Asheville. I have a deep love and respect for the area and believe that WNC is a wonderful place to raise a family. My goal is to help my clients find their special place in the mountains.

Looking back, growing up in Asheville was an absolutely wonderful and positive experience. Being from a fifth generation WNC family, I learned from my parents and grandparents of many mountain traditions and folklore, just as they had learned from theirs. I am blessed with two beautiful daughters that live in Chapel Hill N.C.

In my formative years I was educated in the Asheville City School System and I am a graduate of Mars Hill College. Specific to real estate, I graduated from the North Carolina Realtors Institute and I have completed MAI courses at UNC Chapel Hill.

In the mid-70’s, I moved to Chapel Hill, N.C., where I worked in the Banking mortgage banking, Real Estate Development and Marketing Industries. All of these have positioned me well to assist my clients as I continue my career at Kim & company. In looking for real estate, success comes through knowledge!

I have traveled from the coast on NC to the mountains of Colorado, from Tortola BVI to Victoria BC and from Amsterdam to Hawaii. There was always this thought in my mind: that there was no prettier or more dynamic place than the mountains of North Carolina, whether it be a home on Town Mountain, sitting in a boat on Lake Lure or skiing down Beech Mountain, WNC is a wonderful place to be.

I have chosen Western North Carolina as my home after experiencing life in some of the most beautiful cities in the world. This area has so much to offer, and I love having the pleasure of sharing that with others. I have been in real estate here for almost 5 years, and every day is different and exciting! As an entertainer by nature, I thoroughly enjoy working with people. Everyone is unique, so I like to really listen and understand the wants and needs of each buyer and seller. I welcome the opportunity to discuss your real estate needs and promise that your experience will be professional and enjoyable!

Western North Carolina has been my home for 10 years. My husband and I just recently built our retirement dream home in Penrose, NC with a four season, mountain view. Originally from Pembrook Pines, FL, most of my family has relocated to the mountains now and we have been vacationing here since the 1970's. I have two daughters in Hendersonville, NC, a son in Pigeon Forge,TN, and a daughter and son still in Florida.

As an active member of the tennis community, I have served on Board of the Community Tennis Association of Henderson County, previously owned the Hendersonville Raquet Club and served as chairman of the Apple Open Tennis Tournament.

I love working with people - helping Buyers find the perfect home and working with Sellers to get their house ready to sell in a timely and professional manner. I look forward talking with you about your Real Estate needs!

“Cool Green Asheville”…”I like calling North Carolina Home”… “Nothin’ could be finer than to be in Carolina in the Morning”… These sayings have been part of my life for almost 40 years! Ad campaigns may come and go but the love of WNC will never leave. I was born and raised in Asheville.  My family ran a small quick printing firm on Market Street for 35 years so I have worked with the business community for many years. My interest in Real Estate started when my husband Michael & I started looking for affordable homes in Buncombe County to restore. I have always thought that good affordable housing was attainable if the right mindset was used from the beginning. Our area has some spectacular older homes that with a little love have a long life ahead of them. I look forward to working with folks and helping them not just finds a house, but find their home.  Whether buying or selling, I approach the process on a deeper level.  I understand my client’s needs and emotions and help them to make the right decisions for them.  Having the right agent makes a huge difference in your experience.  Michael & I are committed to being a part of your team so that you find the home you desire or sell your house the best way possible.

Calling Western North Carolina home is a blessing.  Being a native of Asheville and having grown up hiking and camping in these mountains gives me a unique perspective on the beautiful area.

My father and mother moved to Asheville just after World War II to begin his medical practice in General Surgery.  I grew up in North Asheville, but quickly learned all of the sections of Buncombe County and beyond, especially north into Madison County.

I am a trained cabinet and furniture maker, as well as a carpenter.  My experience in building has provided me with a deeper insight into the home purchasing and selling process.  I also have a love for the land in our area and enjoy being able to go out and explore what is available for my clients.  I look forward to working with you and giving you and your family a great real estate experience.
